LTFRB approves four more motorcycle taxi firms
MANILA, Philippines — The five-year motorcycle taxi pilot program has not been terminated and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has in fact added four more players in the fast-growing industry.
LTFRB Chair Teofilo Guadiz III said in a statement on Saturday that the board accredited four more transport network companies with 8,000 accredited riders in Regions 3 and 4.

The agency previously allowed Singaporean-owned Angkas, JoyRide and MoveIt to operate motorcycle taxis for six months from June 2019 on a pilot study basis.
