4 die in two-car collision in Cagayan
TUGUEGARAO CITY – Four people died after a double cab car and an Elf truck collided along the national road at Barangay Lapogan in Gattaran town, Cagayan province on Friday, May 24.
Police Major Gary Macadangdang, Gattaran police chief, said they have yet to identify the fatalities.
Investigators said the victims were occupants of the double cab car. Two occupants of the Elf truck sustained injuries.
Macadangdang said the Elf truck was loaded with containers of fish to be delivered to Aparri, Cagayan while the double cab was on its way to Tuguegarao City at the time of the accudent.

The elf truck reportedly occupied the other lane and collided with the double cab head-on. The driver allegedly dozed off after a long trip from Manila.
The truck driver and his helper were still recuperating in the hospital. INQ
