2024 Bar Exam application website back online
MANILA CITY, Philippines — The online application platform for the 2024 Bar examination applicants is back in operation.
The Bar Application Registration System and Tech Assistance (Barista), which is used by Bar applicants to upload requirements and monitor the progress of their applications, was down Wednesday, causing a stir among law graduates.
“The Barista app underwent an update yesterday (Wednesday), which caused a momentary error while syncing,” SC Spokesperson Camille Sue Mae Ting said.
On Thursday, the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) also announced that Barista is again open for uploading digital copies of the deferred documents for those whose applications have already been processed.
“The applicants are advised to check the status of their application through the Barista,” the OBC said in a statement. It added that applicants also needed to submit physical copies of the deferred documents to the OBC on or before October 15.
“Failure to upload and submit all necessary deferred documents within the period will result in disqualification,” it added.
