MANILA, Philippines — A man was shot dead by unidentified robbers whom he tried to fight off in Quezon City early Wednesday, police said.
The victim, who has not been named, was shot around 7 a.m. at M. Cuenco Street in Barangay (village) Sta. Teresita, Police Officer 3 Louie Reyes said.
Radio reports said the man allegedly fought off the robbers who tried to snatch his bag.
Reyes said police were still investigating the area where the victim was found.
