The provincial government of Negros Oriental is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its capitol building, which has stood the test of time. The National Historical Commission of the Philippines has installed a marker to commemorate this milestone.

DUMAGUETE CITY–The provincial government of Negros Oriental is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its capitol building, which has stood the test of time.

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines has installed a marker to commemorate this milestone.

The celebration was led by Governor Manuel “Chaco” Sagarbarria, alongside provincial officials and distinguished guests including Senators Imee Marcos, Jinggoy Estrada, Manuel “Lito” Lapid, Mark Villar, Francis Tolentino, and Risa Hontiveros.
