MANILA, Philippines — The country is expected to have fair and humid weather on Thursday, the state weather bureau said.
According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio, some parts in Northern Luzon may experience rains due to a shear line.

“Inaasahan po natin ngayong araw, sa Cagayan Valley, sa Batanes, at Isabela ay makakaranas ng maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at thunderstorm dahil po ‘yan sa shear line,” Aurelio said in the Pagasa’s forecast.
(We expect that Cagayan Valley, Batanes, and Isabela will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by a shear line.)
In contrast, other parts of the country will have fair weather, but with chances of scattered rains from afternoon to evening.
Aurelio added that there were no weather disturbances affecting, or are expected to affect the country, inside or outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
