Magnitude 4.1 quake strikes off Isabela

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude-4.1 earthquake struck the waters of Divilacan, Isabela, on Wednesday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
It was recorded at 6:06 p.m. some 34 kilometers (km) northeast of Divilacan.
The shallow tremor had a depth of focus of one kilometer and was tectonic in origin.
It was felt at Intensity II in Divilacan and Maconacon in Isabela.
Phivolcs added that no aftershock or damage to property are expected.
