MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather due to easterlies will prevail in most parts of the country on Friday, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
However, Batanes and Cagayan will still experience overcast skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought by a frontal system.

“Yun pong frontal system ay inaasahan nating kikilos pa-hilaga at maaari pong mamayang gabi o bukas ay ‘di na to makaka-apekto sa ating bansa,” said Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio in an early morning forecast.
(The frontal system is expected to move northward and may no longer affect our country by tonight or tomorrow.)
“Ang nalalabing bahagi ng ating bansa ay magiging maganda, maaliwalas ang panahon. Asahan pa rin ang maalinsangan na panahon lalo na po sa pagitan ng alas-diyes ng umaga hanggang alas-kwatro ng hapon,” he added.
(The remaining parts of our country will have good and fair weather. Expect humid weather, especially between ten in the morning and four in the afternoon.)

Meanwhile, the cloud clusters in the southern portion of the country still have no effect on the country’s weather.
As for predicted temperature ranges in key cities and areas of the country for May 10, Pagasa issued the following:
- Metro Manila: 25 to 35 °C
- Baguio City: 17 to 25 °C
- Laoag City: 26 to 35 °C
- Tuguegarao: 25 to 35 °C
- Legazpi City: 26 to 33 °C
- Puerto Princesa City: 27 to 35 °C
- Tagaytay: 23 to 32 °C
- Kalayaan Islands: 27 to 35 °C
- Iloilo City: 28 to 33 °C
- Cebu: 27 to 32 °C
- Tacloban City: 27 to 32 °C
- Cagayan de Oro City: 26 to 32 °C
- Zamboanga City: 25 to 34 °C
- Davao City: 25 to 35 °C
