MANILA, Philippines — One lane of Tagum – Panabo Circumferential Road in Davao del Norte will be temporarily closed to the public until next week, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Region XI advised on Wednesday.

In a Facebook post, the DPWH – Region XI said the lane from Corner Capitol to Barangay Hall will be closed from 5 p.m. to 12 midnight from May 8 to 15.

“This is to give way to a Night Market that will be put up as part of the week-long celebration of 28th Araw ng Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City,” the post read.

Motorists were advised to take Tagum – Panabo Circumferential Road to Purok Dela Cruz Road to Tagum City Diversion Road as the alternate route during the one-week closure.

“This closure is in accordance with Barangay Resolution No. 34, Series of 2024. Please plan your travels accordingly and continue to monitor this page for updates,” the DPWH – Region XI added.
