LUCENA CITY — More than P6.9 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) was found on Tuesday under a bridge in Noveleta, Cavite.

The Region 4A police reported on Wednesday, May 8, that three street sweepers were cleaning under Kalero Bridge in Barangay San Rafael 4 at 3:10 p.m. when they discovered a sealed plastic containing a white substance believed to be shabu.

The street sweepers immediately reported their findings to the local police station.

Authorities found out that the plastic contained 1.02 kilos of shabu worth P6,936,000.

The police are conducting further investigation.
