LUCENA CITY — Another fire hit a residential apartment in this city on Tuesday and destroyed properties worth about P100,000, police said.
Lucena police said in a report on Wednesday, May 8, that the fire destroyed part of the seven-unit apartment owned by one Genina Palilio in Barangay 1
The report said the fire started around 5:45 p.m. in the second unit of the apartment. No one was hurt after firefighters put out the fire at 7:04 p.m.

Firefighters were still investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
On April 24, a fire razed a residential apartment in another part of the barangay after a wire in an electric post sparked.
On Jan. 26, another fire broke out in the same barangay that gutted at least 15 houses and left four people dead.
