‘I Choose You!’: Man proposes to GF with Pokémon-inspired engagement ring
A Pokémon fan shared a photo of the Pokémon-inspired engagement ring she received after her longtime partner proposed to her while riding the Hep Five Ferris Wheel in Osaka, Japan, last April 10.
Uploader Richelle dela Cruz, 34, of Mandaluyong City, showcased the intricate and symbolic details of the stunning ring in a Poké Ball case on Facebook.
The overall design was inspired by a scene in “The Professors’ New Adventure!” from the Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, where Professor Kukui proposed to Professor Burnet with a Poké Ball.
Meanwhile, Dela Cruz recounted to INQUIRER.net that she could not contain her excitement the moment Fernandez popped the question after 14 years of being together.

It was a bit difficult to hide the excitement, especially since we were 106 meters above the ground when he proposed. It was really a memorable moment for both of us,” Dela Cruz expressed.

“Pokémon for us is a reminder of how we will always be kids at heart. Even now that we are at this age, and even if we will have kids, we will still be fans of Pokémon,” Dela Cruz said.
The couple plans to tie the knot about two years from now.
