MANILA, Philippines — Portions of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) will be closed from May 10 to 17, to make way for the construction of the Northern Access Link Expressway project.

According to NLEx Corp., the project is located near Balintawak Toll Plaza, with 315 meters of northbound and southbound directions’ Lane 1 (leftmost lane) and Lane 2 (middle lane) are set to be closed in specific schedules.
“To give way to the SMC’s (San Miguel Corporation) Northern Access Link Expressway project near Balintawak Toll Plaza, lane closures (315 meters) on both northbound and southbound directions will be implemented,” NLEx said in a traffic advisory on Monday night.

The closure schedule is as follows:
- May 10, 10 p.m. to May 11, 4 a.m.
- May 11, 9 p.m. to May 12, 2 p.m.
- May 12, 8 p.m. to May 13, 4 a.m.
- May 13, 8 p.m. to May 14, 5 a.m.
- May 14, 8 p.m. to May 15, 5 a.m.
- May 15, 8 p.m. to May 16, 5 a.m.
- May 16, 8 p.m. to May 17, 5 a.m.
