PRC: 1,698 pass April 2024 midwifery board exam
MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) on Monday announced that 1,698 out of 2,975, or 57.08 percent of examinees passed the April 2024 Midwife Licensure Examination.
Judah Paolo Espero of Camarines Sur Polytechnic University – Nabua topped the examination with a rating of 91.70 percent, followed by Samantha May Torcuan of the University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences in Leyte (91.60 percent) and Christina Domingo of Northeastern College (91.35 percent).
Decemya Wawey Amayag of the University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences in Leyte and Andreana Fel Saysip Macuyat of Pagadian City International College ranked fourth (90.60 percent), followed by Kleo Asurin Amistoso of San Agustin Institute of Technology (90.45 percent), Ray Christian Donado Moreno of Adamson University (90.20 percent), Jedie Line Ramos Plaza of Cavite State University (90.20 percent).
In seventh spot is Rejen Tibayan Sumalbag of Urdaneta City University (89.90 percent), followed by Suhaila Abdulbayan Akmad of the University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences in Leyte (89.80 percent), Raiza Jezryl De Leon Pantino of Bataan Peninsula State Universit and Rena Lei Millares Torcuato of Cavite State University (89.75 percent), and Daniela Jane Mabayang Rivera of Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery (89.60 percent).
The examinations were conducted from April 19 to 30 at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
Article continues after this advertisementThe schedule for online appointments to obtain the Professional ID and start the Certificate of Registration for the newly licensed midwives will be held on June 10, PRC said.
PRC advises passers to register online athttps://online.prc.gov.ph/ and prepare the following documents:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
- Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
- Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
- One (1) short brown envelope
