LUCENA CITY — A suspected drug pusher and an alleged member of a gun-for-hire group were arrested on Friday night (May 3) in a buy-bust operation in Candelaria, Quezon.
The Quezon police said in a report Saturday, May 4, that “Jaypee,” 25, and his associate, “Pauline,” 28, were nabbed after they sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in Barangay Malabanban Norte at 9:40 p.m.
Authorities confiscated five sachets containing shabu with a street value of P59,160.

Police also found Jaypee carrying an undocumented caliber .9mm pistol loaded with four bullets.
They tagged Jaypee as a “high-value” target in the local drug war and a gun-for-hire gang member.
Both suspects were detained and are facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Jaypee will also face a charge of illegal possession of a firearm under the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
