MWSS to give warning to households with excessive water consumption

MANILA, Philippines — Due to the ongoing El Niño phenomenon, excessive water consumers will be given a warning by the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS).

When asked about how the government was conserving water amid the prolonged dry season, MWSS Department Manager Patrick Dizon said that they are monitoring the monthly consumption of households.

(If there is a large increase in consumption, we will investigate it and if we prove that there is no leak in their house, we will give them a warning and we will help them how to save water.)
