LUCENA CITY — Three still unidentified robbers on Monday killed their victim and took with them more than P1.8 million cash and properties in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

The Region 4A police, in a belated report Tuesday, said the victim, a certain Wilson Tibayan, aboard his Toyota Hilux Conquest, was about to enter the parking area of their house inside a subdivision in Barangay Burol-Main at 2:40 a.m. when three men suddenly appeared and, at gunpoint, boarded the vehicle.

After the robbers left, Nacua sought help from their neighbors. They found Tibayan with several stab wounds and took him to the nearest hospital, but he died on the way.

The report said the robbers took P1,800,000 cash, assorted jewelry pieces, and the victim’s black vehicle (DAT 1211) in their escape.

The police launched an investigation to identify the robbers.
