TUGUEGARAO CITY – At least 43 people were injured when an overloaded passenger jeepney fell into a four-meter ravine in Enrile town, Cagayan province on Sunday (April 28), authorities said.
An initial report from the local disaster risk reduction and management office said the vehicle’s steering wheel malfunctioned and the driver failed to immediately stop it while traversing the roadside in Barangay San Roque.
The injured passengers sustained wounds and fractures and were taken to Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) for treatment.
