Robbers take 100 iPhones in Laguna

MANILA, Philippines — Four individuals fled with 100 iPhone units from a gadget shop in Pila, Laguna, last April 23, according to the police.

In a report on Thursday, the Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) said a 24-year-old victim identified as “Katrina” sought the assistance of the Pila police before noon, shortly after the robbery in Barangay Bulilan Norte Pila.

Based on Katrina’s account, police said four unidentified men entered the store and declared a hold-up.

The robbers took 100 assorted iPhone units before leaving the shop onboard two motorcycles towards Santa Cruz.

Based on the victim’s description, one of the suspects was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with “Team Katagumpay” markings, while another wore a pink and black jacket.

Further investigation is ongoing.
