MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude four earthquake shook parts of Mindanao on Thursday afternoon, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
According to Phivolcs, the epicenter of the quake was seven kilometers northeast of Maramag, Bukidnon, and it was recorded at exactly 2:50 p.m.
The earthquake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of focus of 11 kilometers.
Intensity III was felt in Maramag and Valencia City in Bukidnon, intensity II in Arakan, Makilala, President Roxas, and Antipas in Cotabato, and Intensity I in Kidapawan City.

Meanwhile, the following Instrumental Intensities were also recorded by Phivolcs:
Intensity III – San Fernando, Bukidnon
Intensity II – Maramag, Bukidnon; City of Kidapawan and President Roxas, Cotabato
Intensity I – Matanao and Magsaysay, Bukidnon; Magpet, Cotabato; Kalilangan, Bukidnon
Phivolcs said no damage and aftershocks are expected to occur.
