Pasig announces road closure due to leaning pole

MANILA, Philippines —  The local government unit (LGU) of Pasig City said on Tuesday that a portion of a road in Barangay Caniogan will be temporarily closed to traffic from Wednesday to Thursday.

This was due to a leaning pole which the Manila Electric Corporation (Meralco) will remove.

The road will be closed from 9:00 am on Wednesday to 5:00 am on Thursday.

“Please be informed that from 09:00PM tomorrow, April 24, 2024 until 05:00AM of the next day, April 25, 2024, Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. cor. N. Espiritu St. in Barangay Caniogan will be temporarily closed to give way to the removal of leaning pole in the area to be conducted by Meralco,” the Pasig City Public Information Office said in a Facebook post.

The LGU also advised motorists to take alternate routes.
