Her 17-year-old granddaughter Rubylin Dioso was also found stabbed dead inside the toilet. She was believed to have been raped because she was found naked.

Inspector Orlando Fangena, Barotac Nuevo police chief, said carpenters who were doing work on the house found the remains of the victims Monday morning.

Investigators have identified two suspects but were still waiting for results of tests from the police criminal laboratory.

Fangena said they were still determining the motive of the killings, which is suspected to be due to a grudge against Dioso, who sustained 25 stab wounds.
