MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out at a residential area in Pasig City early Monday morning, authorities said.
The Pasig City Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office said on Facebook that the blaze started at 4:35 a.m. along Jenny’s Avenue in Barangay Rosario.

The fire quickly reached the second alarm at 4:41 a.m. and the third alarm at 5:04 a.m., it added.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames by 6:08 a.m.

However, in a text message to INQUIRER.net, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire as a probe was still underway.
Also, BFP-NCR Fire Officer Jam Lucas said they have yet to determine the exact number of individuals affected by the fire.
