P3.4 million worth of shabu seized in Parañaque; 3 suspects nabbed

MANILA, Philippines — Three men who were caught carrying P3.4 million worth of suspected crystal meth, locally known as shabu, were arrested in Parañaque on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

In a report, PDEA identified the suspects as Asher Guiani, 32; Ariedz Guiani, 29; and Almajid Kudandin, 22.

The three were apprehended by authorities during a buy-bust operation at a mall parking lot along Don Bosco around 12:20 p.m.

Found in their belongings were 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million.  Aside from this, PDEA said they found boodle money, a cellular phone, a government ID, and a vehicle.

All three are currently in PDEA’s custody and will face complaints for violating Section 5 of Article of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
