MANILA, Philippines—President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has declared April 27 a special non-working day in Montalban, Rizal, in celebration of the town’s 153rd anniversary.
According to Proclamation No. 515, “it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Montalban be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.”

“Now, therefore, I, Lucas P. Bersamin, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., do hereby declare Saturday, 27 April 2024, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Montalban, Province of Rizal,” the proclamation read.
The declaration was signed last April 8 and posted in the Official Gazette on Friday (April 12).
