MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Thursday’s weather will remain very hot and muggy amid clear skies as the easterlies continue to dominate.
“Patuloy pa ring nakakaapekto ang easterly winds sa ating bansa, kaya ngayong araw, makakaasa pa rin tayp ng maalinsangang panahon,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
(Easterly winds continue to affect our country, so today we can expect humid weather.)
Metro Manila is projected to have temperatures between 25 to 34 degrees Celsius this Thursday while Tuguegarao City is forecast to experience the hottest temperature for the day at a peak of 36 degrees Celsius.

Other predicted temperature ranges in more cities and areas of the country are:
- Laoag – 26 to 34 degrees Celsius
- Baguio – 17 to 24 degrees Celsius
- Tagaytay – 22 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Legazpi – 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Kalayaan Islands – 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
- Puerto Princesa – 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Iloilo – 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Cebu – 27 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Tacloban – 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Cagayan de Oro – 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Davao – 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
- Zamboanga – 26 to 33 degrees Celsius

Pagasa said it is not seeing any weather disturbances inside and outside the Philippine area of responsibility as of April 11. It also said it is not raising any gale alerts over any seaboards nationwide for Thursday.
