LUCENA CITY — The driver of a Bicol-bound passenger bus was killed and nine others were injured in a vehicular accident on Tuesday night along the Maharlika Highway in Pagbilao town in Quezon province.

A report from the Quezon police said a DLTB passenger bus being driven by one “Manuel,” 35, while negotiating the highway at around 10:30 p.m. miscalculated a curved section of the road in Barangay Ibabang Palsabangon.

The bus consequently hit two houses on the side of the road, a mango tree, a motorcycle, a tricycle, and dangling electric wires before it stopped.
