In line with this, QCPD chief Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan warned the public that penalties await those who will commit violations against Article 172 or the Falsification by Private Individuals and Use of Falsified Documents in relation to Republic Act No. 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

“The falsification of documents is a serious offense that undermines the integrity of our official records and poses risks to public safety. Magsilbi nawang babala ito sa mga nagbabalak na gawin pa ang mga ganitong klaseng gawain [May this serve as a warning to those who intend to engage in such activities further],” Maranan said in the same statement.
