Marcos leads in turnover of housing units to families in Balanga City
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday urged Bataan-based beneficiaries of the government’s housing project to take care of their new homes.
The President led the turnover of government housing units to 216 informal settler families in Barangay Tenejero, Balanga City, Bataan.

“Mahalin at ingatan natin itong mabuti upang magsilbi itong pundasyon ng inyong mga pangarap at magagandang kinabukasan. Nawa’y inyo ring pagyamanin ang komunidad dito upang sabay-sabay kayong umuunlad at gumiginhawa,” Marcos said in his speech.

“Sa loob ng maraming taon, humarap kayo sa peligrong dala ng pagtira sa tabi ng ilog. Kaya narito tayo upang bigyan ng lunas ang kanilang suliranin. Kayo ngayon ay maninirahan sa sariling bahay na ligtas, de kalidad at komportable,” said Marcos.

Each of the housing units is 27 square meters, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a toilet and a bath, and energy and water connections.
