Parts of Quezon City, Rizal to have water interruptions from April 8 to 12

MANILA, Philippines —  Some areas in Quezon City and Rizal will experience temporary water supply interruptions from April 8 to 12 due to scheduled maintenance activities, the Manila Water Company announced.

According to Manila Water, the maintenance works and disconnection activity will be held at the following locations, dates, and times:

Pasig City

    • Parts of Barangay Maybunga

This is due to a leak repair at Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue, Maybunga.

Taytay, Binangonan, and Angono, Rizal

  • April 11, 10 p.m. to April 12, 4 a.m.
    • Parts of Taytay (San Juan, Muzon)
    • Parts of Angono (San Isidro, San Roque, San Vicente, Sto. Nino, San Pedro, Bagumbayan, Poblacion Ibaba, Poblacion Itaas, Kalayaan)
    • Parts of Binangonan (Pag-asa)

This is due to a gearbox replacement along Manila East Road (fronting Shell) Angono.

Manila Water advised affected residents that once water service is restored, they should let the water flow out of their taps for a few minutes until the water becomes clear.
