The schedule change will take effect on April 8, Monday.
My Makati, the official Facebook account of the city, said in a post.
(This measure is implemented as part of the city’s contingencies against the severe heat.)
The city also told parents to monitor their children’s school activities and reminded them of other measures that they can take to alleviate the discomfort brought by the high heat.
(While classes are shortened, parents are reminded to monitor and submit on time the activities of their children daily.)

(All are also advised to wear comfortable and light-colored clothes in class. You may also bring your tumbler and drink plenty of water to be hydrated.)
