OLONGAPO CITY — Another school in this city adjusted its class schedules due to the prevailing extremely hot weather.
The Olongapo City Elementary School (OCES) began on Wednesday, April 3, its shift to alternative delivery mode (ADM) to ease the discomfort being experienced by its students due to the rising heat index in the city.
With ADM, students will only attend in-person classes in the morning and continue their classroom tasks at home in the afternoon.

According to the OCES administration, the modified mode of learning will continue until April 12.
Earlier, St. Joseph College in the city also announced that it would implement a blended mode of learning or temporary half-day in-person classes as the country continues to experience hot and humid weather.
The heat index in the city had peaked at 40 degrees Celsius in the past few days and was already nearing the “danger” level. INQ
