In Sorsogon, school tweaks class schedule due to extreme heat
SORSOGON CITY — A secondary school in Bulan town in Sorsogon province has adopted a new class schedule for all grade levels, mandating all classes to be conducted only in the morning.
In its memorandum no. 029, Bulan National High School (BNHS) adjusted the schedules of all classes from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. only. No classes will be conducted in the afternoon.
This new schedule will be effective beginning Wednesday, April 3 until the remaining two months of the school year.
BNHS Principal Alex Rodriguez emphasized in the memorandum issued Wednesday that the adjustment was necessary for the safety of their students.
