MANILA, Philippines — Motorists heading north and south provinces from Metro Manila can expect slow-moving traffic along parts of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) on Maundy Thursday.
As of 9:15 a.m., the NLEX management said the northbound roads before its harbor link interchange going to Meycauyan, Bulacan, are experiencing slow-moving traffic of approximately 10 to 15 kilometers per hour (kph).

On the other hand, the running speed on northbound roads after Meycauayan to Shell Burol and Angeles to Mabalacat is 20 to 30 kph, while Sta. Rita to Pulilan northbound is 30 to 40 kph.
The traffic on the Balagtas to Tabang northbound road is also slow, at 15 to 30 kph.
“Patrol team assigned at strategic areas to manage the traffic situation. Light traffic in all other areas of NLEX-SCTEX (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway), including toll plazas and interchanges,” the management said.

At 9:00 a.m., SLEX management said that the Mamplasan Exit, San Isidro Bridge, Canlubang Bridge, and Batino area are also slow-moving.
