Eva Pol Tan passes away at 70
Eva Pol Tan, of Poblacion, Makati City, has died of natural causes last Thursday, March 14, 2024, in General Trias, Cavite, after suffering from a massive stroke four months prior. She was 70.
Eva, mother of INQUIRER.net’s Associate Director of Sales & Marketing, Vida Tan Lacano, is fondly remembered for her love of baking and cooking, her staunch belief in always fighting for what is right, and for her strength, determination, courage, and grace as a single mother who single-handedly raised three children in unconditional love and strong values.
Eva was equally revered by friends and past colleagues, as well as by her in-laws, and was specially close to her siblings and their children. She is survived by her son, Ryan Lindley, her daughters Maria Bernadeth and Vida, and her grandsons Zildjian Alexander and Sebastian Ives.
Eva’s wake was held last March 16-17, 2024 at the Loyola Memorial Chapels in Guadalupe, Makati City. Details of her inurnment ceremony will be shared by her immediate family to close friends and relatives once finalized.
Friends and family are requested to offer a prayer for Eva Pol Tan’s soul and eternal repose.
