MANILA, Philippines — National Economic and Development Authority (Neda) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan on Thursday shared his recent experience of getting trapped inside an elevator.

“Longest elevator ride – just thankful that we were all safe,” said Balisacan in a Facebook post.

In the post, Balisacan was seen together with other Neda employees.

Balisacan and the other employees had to leave the elevator through a ladder leading to the lowered elevator doors.

Neda informed INQUIRER.net that Balisacan was trapped on the 19th floor of the Mega Tower in Mandaluyong City. He was en route to the signing ceremony for the implementing rules and regulations of the Public Private Partnership Code.

The agency reported that Balisacan and all other employees are safe.
