WHICH del Mar will run for congress in Cebu Citys north district next year – the father or daughter?

Raul del Mar said Bando Osmeña – Pundok Kauswagan (B0-PK) is in no hurry to choose.

He said he and daughter, Rep. Rachel “Cutie” del Mar will “confer” with each other on their election plans.

The del Mars and the mayor, whose relations were severely strained by the flyover controversy with the mayor opposing the rise of more flyovers sponsored by the family, avoided looking at each other’s direction.

They continued to ignore each other even when they sat together on a stage for the program.

Rama, the Del Mars and other guests were later asked to join the children of GK beneficiaries in the dancing of the GK unity song.  Before the song ended, Rama went down.

The mayor left without delivering a message.  He said he was on his way to an ongoing fire in barangay Luz.

In a message delivered shortly after Rama left, Rep. Del Mar acknowledged the efforts of her father and former mayor Tomas Osmeña in helping implement the GK Condoville I.

“We now have a beautiful place for the living.  They now have a place they can call home,” she said.
