The state weather bureau said the amihan is also forecast to bring overcast skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte.

No significant impact is expected over areas that will be rained by amihan, the advisory said.

Pagasa added that easterlies would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao Oriental, and Davao de Oro.

The rest of the country, on the other hand, has partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the combined effects of the weather system and localized thunderstorms.

Pagasa warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms in areas that will be affected by easterlies.

It added that a gale warning alert is still raised over the seaboards of Ilocos Norte, Batanes, Cagayan, including the Babuyan Islands, and Isabela due to amihan.
