MANILA, Philippines — Motorists in Valenzuela City were advised of expected “merging traffic” due to the Department of Transportation’s (DOTr) North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project.
In an advisory on Wednesday, the city government said that merging traffic is expected along the outer northbound lane of MacArthur Highway, near the San Isidro Labrador Church, Barangay Malinta, from March 21 to April 6.

This is due to the closure of sidewalk and bike lanes that will give way to the North-South Commuter Railway segment installation works.
The P873.62-billion NSCR will link New Clark City to Calamba, Laguna.
Its target completion is in 2028, the Philippine National Railways said.
