Fair weather to prevail in Luzon; rest of PH to have overcast skies
MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather will prevail in most parts of Luzon, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to overcast skies with chances of rain showers due to easterlies, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In a morning forecast, the state weather bureau said that easterlies and localized thunderstorms will continue to affect areas nationwide on Tuesday.

“Para sa magiging lagay ng panahon ngayong araw ng Martes ang buong bahagi ng Luzon kasama ang Metro Manila ay makararanas ng generally fair weather conditions maliban na lang yan sa mga tiyansa pa rin ng isolated o yung mga biglaan o mga panandaliang pag-ulan pag-kidlat at pag-kulog dulot ng localized thunderstorms,” Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda reported.
(For today’s weather, Luzon and Metro Manila will have generally fair weather conditions with the possibility of isolated or sudden and brief rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.)
She added that partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, with chances of light to moderate rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
In the meantime, Castañeda said Pagasa has not monitored any weather disturbance or low-pressure area that may enter the country’s area of responsibility for the rest of the week.

- Metro Manila: 22 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Baguio City: 14 to 24 degrees Celsius
- Laoag City: 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Tuguegarao: 22 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Legazpi City: 23 to 30 degrees Celsius
- Tagaytay: 20 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Puerto Princesa City: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Kalayaan Islands: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Iloilo City: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Cebu: 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Tacloban City: 24 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Cagayan De Oro City: 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
