MANILA, Philippines – Former president Rodrigo Duterte may be summoned to a Senate hearing if there are more evidence and testimonies  that would surface regarding Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy’s  assets and businesses, Senator Risa Hontiveros. said on Monday.

Currently, however, there is no decision yet whether or not Duterte would be summoned to the hearings of the Senate committee on women headed by Hontiveros.

(We haven’t decided yet to call Duterte to be a resource person even after the testimony of alias Rene regarding the sacks of various kinds of firearms when he and the Vice President visited Quiboloy’s mountain.)

“Rene”, a former KJC landscaper at Quiboloy’s Glory Mountain, claimed that he saw Duterte and his daughter, Vice President Sara Duterte, visiting the property and later leaving with a bag of firearms.

The witness made the allegation against the Dutertes during the committee’s hearing last February 19.

“Inuna muna naming dinigin lahat ng mga victim survivors bilang front and center, heart and soul nitong investigation,”  Hontiveros pointed out.

(We prioritized hearing all the victim-survivors first since they are the front and center, and the heart and soul of this investigation.)

(If there are additional testimonies for example regarding money matters or business matters involving Quiboloy, and it is necessary to invite him to testify, then we will do so.)
