President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s satisfaction ratings bounced back, based on a new Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, but dropped significantly in Mindanao.

According to the new SWS survey, Marcos had a net satisfaction rating of +47 (which is the sum of the satisfied and the dissatisfied) as of December 2023.

Bohol gov wants truth in Chocolate Hills dev’t

As the controversy raged over the construction and operation of a resort in the middle of the Chocolate Hills, Bohol Gov. Aris Aumentado has summoned officials of Sagbayan town to finally shed light on the project built in a protected landscape.

Aumentado said he would meet with Sagbayan Mayor Restituto Suarez III, the town council, and the local government’s department heads to explain why a business permit was issued to the Captain’s Peak Garden and Resort when it did not have an environmental compliance certificate (ECC) from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
