Meralco upkeep works in Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Batangas on March 15-17

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced scheduled maintenance works on its service lines in some areas of Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, and Batangas from March 15 to 17.

In an advisory, Meralco said maintenance efforts will be conducted on the following;

March 15

Antipolo, Rizal (between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. and between 4:40 a.m. and 5 a.m.)

Reason: Due to line reconductoring works and relocation of poles related to the Department of Public Works and Highways relocation project along Sumulong Highway in Barangay Sta. Cruz

• A portion of Sumulong Highway from Miguel’s Garden Cafe to and including First Pacific Leadership Academy
• Sitio Upper Lucban, Sitio Kay Babae, Sitio Gumamela and Sitio Malanim
• Ramah Desa Mountain Residences, Richdale Subdivision, Citadel Subdivision, and Victoriaville Homes Subdivision in Barangays Dela Paz and Sta. Cruz

Antipolo, Rizal (between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m.)

• A portion of Sumulong Highway from Alpadi Estate to and including Sitio Hopeville
• Barangay Hills Subdivision, Buenos Aires Subdivision, Cavaliers Village, Emerald Hills Subdivision, Hacienda Antipolo Village, La Montana Estates, Palos Verdes Subdivision Phase 1, and Nuestra Señora Dela Paz Subdivision in Barangays Dela Paz and Sta. Cruz

Bulacan (between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. and between 4:40 a.m. and 5 a.m.)

Reason: Due to retirement of pole and relocation of facilities along Balasing – San Jose Road in Barangay Tigbe, Norzagaray

Reason: Due to National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) line repair works along NGCP Bay

Manila (between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.)

Reason: Due to upgrading of facilities in Intramuros

• A portion of Soriano Avenue and Muralla Street from Shipping Center Building to Victoria Street including KFC, Bacolod Chicken House, AUB, Bank of Commerce, Figaro, Greenwich Pizza, Max’s Restaurant, Colegio De Sta. Rosa, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapua University, The Bayleaf Hotel, and Manila High School
• A portion of Cabildo, Magallanes and Legaspi Streets from Soriano Avenue to and including Victoria, Sta.
