Suspected drug pusher yields P727,000 shabu in Cavite bust

LUCENA CITY – Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested a female “high-value” drug trafficker early Thursday, March 14, and seized more than P727,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

The Region 4A police reported that members of the local drug enforcement unit busted “Boba,” 52, after she sold shabu around 4:30 a.m. to an undercover cop in Barangay San Lorenzo 2.

The operatives confiscated from the suspect two plastic sachets and one knot-tied plastic containing shabu weighing 107 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P727,600.

Authorities are investigating the source of the drugs.

Police tagged Boba as on the police drug watch list as an HVI or high-value individual in the local drug trade.

On Wednesday morning, March 13, policemen arrested two suspected drug pushers, “Papa Doms” and “Manny,” and seized shabu and an illegal firearm in a sting operation in Barangay San Juan in Taytay, Rizal.

Seized from the suspects were four sachets of shabu weighing 15 grams with an estimated DDB value of P102,000.

Also recovered from Manny was an undocumented caliber .38 gun loaded with three bullets.

The operatives also arrested Papa Doms’ wife “Fatma,” after she tried to stop the arrest and shouted defamatory words at the cops.

The police tagged Papa Doms as an HVI.

All suspects are under police custody and will face the corresponding criminal charges.
