Amihan to bring overcast skies, rain to parts of Northern Luzon — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or “amihan” will bring overcast skies, rain and cooler temperatures over parts of Northern Luzon on Friday, while the rest of the country will continue to experience hot and humid weather due to the effects of the easterlies, the state weather bureau said.
(The effects of two weather systems in our country persist. The gradually intensifying northeast monsoon continues to affect Northern Luzon. This will bring a slight decrease in temperature and light rain.)
(Meanwhile, in the remaining parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the hot and humid weather persists due to the easterlies.)

Fair weather will likewise prevail in Visayas, but partly cloudy to cloudy skies will persist in Eastern Visayas, with chances of isolated rain showers.
On the other hand, isolated rain showers should also be expected in parts of Mindanao, particularly the Caraga Region, Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental, due to the easterlies, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies in the rest of Mindanao.
Meanwhile, Estareja said Pagasa is currently not monitoring any weather disturbances entering or forming within the Philippine area of responsibility.
