MANILA, Philippines — A lawmaker urged the Department of Trade (DTI) and Industry to set standards for the accessories allowable on motorcycle taxis.

“DTI, when this bill will be inducted into a law, kailangan magkaroon na kayo ng standards and specifications doon sa mga accessories. Kasi kung magiging batas na ito, mandatory na sa inyo,” Antipolo Rep. Romeo M. Acop said during a House Committee hearing on a substitute bill legalizing motorcycle taxis.
