LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics team seized more than P2 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) and arrested a suspected drug personality in a buy-bust operation Wednesday in Naga City in Camarines Sur.

Lieutenant Colonel Chester Pomar, Naga City police spokesperson, reported that the suspect, who was not identified in the report, sold at 4:48 p.m. a sachet of shabu for P200,000 to an undercover agent in Barangay Concepcion Pequeña.

During the search, authorities also recovered about 250 grams of shabu from the sling bag of the suspect, a resident of Pasig City and tagged as a high-value drug personality.

Pomar said 300 grams of illegal drugs were confiscated from the suspect, who was detained and faces charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
