UE to hold open house, free college entrance tests on March 7 and 8

MANILA, Philippines — The University of the East (UE) Manila and Caloocan campuses will hold campus tours and free college admission tests for the academic year 2025-2026 on March 7 and 8, 2024.

The dates are this coming Thursday and Friday.

The university made the announcement on Monday.

UE said both of its campuses will host an open house for incoming freshmen where they would be able to “interact with UE student organization officers and athletes, and participate in games and raffle draws.”

In a separate post on Facebook, the university noted its campus tours will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The private, autonomous university will also give participating students the opportunity to take the UE College Entrance Test (CET) on the said dates for free or without having to pay any fee,” it added.

Students interested in taking the free college admission exam may register online prior to March 7 or 8 via this link:

In a post on the university’s website, incoming freshmen who will take the exam will need to submit a 2×2 photo with a white background and any of the following:

  • For Grade 12 graduates: Grade 12 report card
  • For graduates of Non-Formal Education: PEPT/ALS rating
  • For current Grade 12 students: Grade 11 report card
  • For college transferees: Transcript of records or Certification of grades
  • For degree holders: Transcript of records
  • For cross-enrollees: Permit to cross-enroll

Upon clicking the registration link, aspiring freshmen will then be taken to a webpage to fill out the application form wherein they can upload any of the requirements.

According to UE, it has produced “hundreds of thousands of graduates” in various fields since it was founded in 1946.

Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines previously announced that its college admission test will be held from August 10 to 11, 2024.
