President Marcos has appointed lawyer Hubert Dominic Guevara as a commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), according to the Presidential Communications Office.
Prior to his appointment as SEC commissioner, Guevara served as senior deputy executive secretary under the Office of the President.

Before this, he was named as director of the SEC’s Compliance and Enforcement Department in 2004.
