Leap year draw: Lone bettor wins P15 million Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — The additional day of leap year proved to be an auspicious one for a lone bettor who got the right combination for the Lotto 6/42 to become the 7th winner of the game in February alone.

The digits 05-21-03-33-30-41 made the lotto player P15,019,736.80 richer, as announced during Thursday night’s draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

After the win, the initial jackpot prize of the Lotto 6/42 will revert to P5,940,000.

Throughout February, many bettors won the lotto raffle: on Feb. 1 (P5,940,000), Feb. 6 (P7,341,411.40), Feb. 13 (P7,083,788.60) and Feb. 20 (P10,990,641.60).

Also, two winners of the Feb.8 raffle split the jackpot prize of P5,940,000.

PCSO holds the raffle of 6/42 Lotto every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, the jackpot prizes for Ultra Lotto 6/48 (P24,744,968.20) and the 6D Lotto (P6,312,426.24) remain up for grabs.
